Well, what more should I tell you about Dekka wraps … They were here for several times (and they will, certainly, come back in the future as well). This time, Dekka cousins Art and Adam came to us after an unwanted tour among the affiliates of the Czech post.

Tilia Art

Composition: 100 % cotton

Weight: 330 g/m2

Size: 6

Rucksack carry with tibetian knotless finish

The weave, composition and weight of Art is the same as of its sister Adel we tested some time ago; and very surprisingly () – the wraps have the same properties as well. Emilka and I did not have the opportunity to cuddle Adel properly, because there were three other Dekka wraps waiting for our testing during the same day. Therefore, I was immensely glad to put Art to a thorough test – we have taken him for a daylong trip to the Garden Food Festival (which was a wonderful experience itself, by the way, especially for a finicky goat – i.e. myself).

Art is a soft wrap with loose weave, so typical of Tilias. It is easy to tie and tightens without problems, which is characteristic of all the ˈleafyˈ siblings after all. During our trip (roughly 5 hours with a small break), we used the Double cross carry – I did not feel Emilkaˈs 8 kilos at all. Regarding colours, Art is the most beautiful Tilia for me. Regarding function, Isla with bamboo is a little better for me.

Plectrum Adam

Composition: 100 % cotton

Weight: 330 g/m2

Size: 6

Reinforced front wrap cross carry

Adam was the first Dekka wrap I have met in person and have had the opportunity to test. Therefore, the second Adamˈs visit was short and the main goal was to take photos. My view has not changed since winter when I touched it for the first time – cotton Plectrums are very good wraps, which do an honourable job regarding their name – they are tougher, and overall thicker than Tilias. Simply, Dekka wraps. They are comfortable and pleasant to touch; however, in comparison with Tilias and blended Plectrums, they cooperate less while tying and tightening according to my opinion. Regarding looks, Adam was my absolutely favourite Plectrum wrap until Luka was born (and my absolutely favourite Dekka wrap until Elements were released).

Once more (and hopefully not for the last time) we thank Dekka wraps for the opportunity to test their wonderful products. Our thanks go to our dear friend – nicknamed ˈRajčeˈ (Tomato) – as well, who secured the whole testing.
